Getting Started on Your Mental Health Journey

What to expect…

During our first session, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where I take time to get to know you and what’s bringing you in. Feel free to grab a coffee or tea, get comfortable, and settle into a cozy space for our session together.

We’ll begin by reviewing your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, and any previous treatment experiences. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your goals, lifestyle, and what you’re hoping to gain from care.

By the end of the session, we’ll work together to create an initial treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. This may include medication options, supportive therapy, integrative wellness strategies, education, and recommendations for ongoing psychotherapy or combined therapy and medication management appointments when appropriate.

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and individualized. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
