About Molly…
Hi, I'm Molly!
Along with working as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I'm a wife, mother, yogi, dog lover, coffee enthusiast, avid reader, thrift shopper, and someone who appreciates the simple joys in life. I believe some of life's greatest moments can be found in a quiet morning with a favorite mug of coffee, getting lost in a good book, spending time outdoors, painting, and sharing meaningful moments with the people I love.
Throughout my years in healthcare, I've had the privilege of caring for people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. What stood out to me time and time again was how many people silently carried anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, and self-doubt while continuing to show up for work, family, and everyone around them. That's what led me to mental health care.
When I created Rivers Psychiatry & Wellness, my goal was simple: to build a practice where people feel comfortable being themselves. Mental health care shouldn't feel rushed or impersonal. It should feel collaborative, compassionate, and human.
For our appointments, I encourage patients to grab a cup of coffee or tea, wear their comfiest clothes, and settle into a space where they feel comfortable. Many patients tell me our sessions feel more like a conversation with an old friend than a traditional medical appointment - while still receiving thoughtful, evidence-based care.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter, practicing hot yoga, reading fantasy fiction, thrift shopping, caring for my ever-growing collection of houseplants, chasing my cattle dogs around the house and yard, or happily heading to bed earlier than most people think is reasonable.
I'm so glad you're here, and I look forward to being part of your journey.
